When You're Hungry
Just down the road is the local food and watering hole, Bar Davi. The proprietors will gladly prepare you a meal to eat there or to take along on a picnic into the countryside.
The nearest grocery and general store is located in Cerdedo, just 10 minutes away. Called the Tenda Da Aldea, it carries a full line of grocery products as well as general housewares - even clothing.
For the most convenience, look for the local delivery trucks that come right to the door. Pili, the Panaderia (bread truck lady) comes daily except Sundays and Holidays. Fruit and fish trucks come weekly as well. Contact us for more specific details or to help you connect.

Every July the village of Sabucedo, just 5 km from Casa Fondós , hosts a fiesta called A Rapa das Bestas, a rounding up of the wild horses. This display of beauty, strength and joy draws spectators and participants from all over the country.
